ArmInfo. Ameriabank is recognized as the owner of the Asian Trade Bank Development Finance Award (TFP ADB) in the "Leading Partner Bank in Armenia 2018" nomination. As Ameriabank's press service told ArmInfo, at the award ceremony held on September 4 in Singapore, the head of trade finance department of the corporate department Suren Kocharyan and chief specialist Tatev Hakobyan participated from Ameriabank.
The holders of the ADB award for trade financing were recognized as the 23 leading partner banks from 15 countries.
Awarding the winners of the "TFP Awards and Partners" took place on the first day of the annual Global Trade Review in Singapore - GTR Asia Trade and Treasury Week 2018 - one of the leading conferences on trade finance in Asia.
It should be noted that the Asian Development Bank (ADB), headquartered in Manila, was founded in 1966. with a view to reducing poverty in the Asia-Pacific region, through inclusive economic and environmentally sustainable growth, as well as regional integration. 67 AD countries are represented in the ADB, incl. 48 countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The Asian Development Bank operates under the TFP program with more than 200 partner banks to provide companies with the financial support they need to participate in imports and exports. Since 2009, ADB has supported more than 12,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries in Asia for over $ 30 billion. TFP is supplemented by the Supply Chain Finance Program (SCFP), which ADB again launched this year to help small and medium enterprises in developing countries gain access to financing. ADB plans to expand this business in partnership with local, regional and global banks, as well as suppliers of the SCF platform and industry experts to build capacity across the region.
