ArmInfo. Over the past 27 years, all industrial enterprises in Armenia were closed, and fairs were opened in their place. This was announced on November 30 by the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, head of the My Step bloc Nikol Pashinyan during the election campaign in Charentsavan.
He noted that he would do everything possible so that these industrial enterprises would be opened. "Recently, it is noted that there are no investment projects in Armenia. I want to note that today our government will sign an investment memorandum of $ 285-340 million with the Russian Ecotechprom state unitary enterprise. This company intends to build an industrial complex of 100 hectares, where around 1100-1200 people will work, "Pashinyan stressed.
The Acting Prime Minister noted that this industrial complex will start operating in 2022 and will produce baking soda, technical salt and glass.
Pashinyan said that the main goal of the government is to attract investors to Armenia. He also noted that a real revolution will occur when every person asks himself what he/she can do for the country. It was then, according to Pashinyan, that an economic revolution will occur, which is one of the main government tasks on the agenda. The Acting Prime Minister said that the economic revolution will start on January 1.
