Increasing the competitiveness of the Armenian economy, forming a modern economic system based on science and innovations, ensuring the realization of the right of a citizen of the Republic of Armenia to decent work, as  well as improving the quality of life of the population of the  country will be the cornerstone of the new Armenian government's  economic policy.

This is stated in the program of activities of the  election "My Step" bloc regarding the future economic growth of the  republic, promulgated by Acting Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.

The basis of the economic policy of Armenia "My Step" puts a policy  aimed at expanding exports, increasing employment and stimulating  investment. As a result, the structure of the Armenian economy should  undergo significant changes.

"The economic growth in the country is the result of universal  efforts. On this basis, the former practice of decision-making will  be reconsidered solely. Only based on the results of discussions with  the business community, academic circles and experts will strategic  directions of industry policy be defined. Dialogue will become a kind  of platform in order to signal problems, it will also facilitate the  formation of a predictable environment for initiating further  changes, create equal competition . Entnye conditions for all  participants in the process cornerstone of Representatives bloc "My  step" will be to increase awareness of Armenia in the world as a  country with a competitive investment advantages ", - stated in the  program.

It is noted that inclusiveness and competitiveness will be the key to  economic growth in Armenia. The bloc members promise to form an  environment where the right of every citizen to personal  participation in the economic growth of the country will be secured  and stimulated. "My step" attaches importance to the social outcome  of economic development, because it believes that growth based only  on indicators only slightly improves the quality of life of citizens.  Meanwhile, following the implementation of the new model of economic  growth and the distribution of the formed result, every citizen of  the Republic of Armenia will be "present" at all stages of economic  growth.

The ''My Step'' bloc predicts a reduction in administrative burdens  in the short term, the elimination of regulations that impede  entrepreneurship, investment in infrastructure programs, improvement  in the quality of education, health care reforms and export  promotion, including through diversification of external sales  markets. "We are capable of occupying with our work a worthy niche in  the international arena," the program reads.

Henceforth, as noted, instead of consistently increasing the debt  burden, Armenia will save in order to direct resources to the  development of infrastructures that ensure the growth of human  capital and creation of additional value for the whole world.

The main engine of future economic growth in Armenia will be  investments in the private sector and entrepreneurship. Government  activities will focus on growth and the removal of barriers, as well  as the rejection of inefficient spending.

Thus, as noted, the main priorities in the economy will be: the  implementation of economic reforms aimed at increasing the  competitiveness of all sectors of the economy and establishing the  appropriate conditions for their growth; ensuring the uniform  development of regions and infrastructures that generate additional  value (construction of roads, reservoirs, water utilities, power  transmission lines); establishing a dialogue with the private sector  and improving public policy based on an analysis of its actual needs;  introduction of market economy development institutions  (Associations, unions, cooperatives); Special attention should be  paid to the field of technology, light and processing industries,  high-value agriculture and the development of tourism.
