ArmInfo. Armenia and South Korea will cooperate in attracting and protecting investments. The draft intergovernmental agreement was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 17.
Representing the project, Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan noted, that the agreement was signed on October 19, 2018 in Yerevan. The document defines the general principles of cooperation, the creation of equal conditions for attracting investments, the measures for their protection, compensation of damage and resolution of controversial issues.
Earlier Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Armenia Woo Yoon-keun noted the importance of this agreement. Last October, he noted that Korean businessmen visited Armenia, who studied the investment climate in Armenia and are interested in implementing investment programs.
