In the regions of Armenia, apartment buildings rose by 4.1% per annum  in the first quarter of 2019

The average market value  of the apartment building in the regions of Armenia increased in Q1  2019 by 4.1% per annum, making 89.2 thousand drams / 1 sq.m.   According to the data of the State Committee of the Real Estate  Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia, in the first quarter alone the  price for regional apartment buildings increased only by 0.7%.

According to the source, the highest prices for apartments in the  regions are traditionally fixed in the resort town of Tsakhkadzor -  283.6 thousand drams / 1 sq. M. on average, with an annual growth of  2.8% with a quarterly decline of 0.3%. Then follows the city of  Abovyan, where the price for apartment buildings is fixed at the  level of 166.3 thousand drams / 1 sq. M., With an annual growth of  6.2% and quarterly - by 1.1%. And the three leaders are closed by the  city of Goris, where the cost per square meter of the apartment is  139.7 thousand drams, with an annual growth of 8.1% and a quarterly  increase of 1.8%.  The lowest prices are fixed in the city of  Dastakert (Syunik region) - 21.4 thousand. drams / 1 sq.m., with an  annual decline of 7.4% with a quarterly change. Next comes the town  of Tumanyan (Lori region) - 23.8 thousand drams / 1 sq. M., With an  annual growth of almost 2 times and a quarterly increase of 1.3%. Low  prices for apartments were also recorded in Shamlukh - 28.3 thousand  drams / 1 sq. M., With an annual growth of 0.7% with a quarterly  change.

In the regions of Armenia in the first quarter of 2019, 6,469 real  estate purchase and sale transactions were carried out, of which  20.2% or 1308 transactions fell to the sale and purchase of  apartments in multi- apartment buildings, which is 16.4% more than a  year ago, but lower than the figure previous quarter by 14%.

It should be noted that the State Committee of the Real Estate  Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia, starting with the data for the  first quarter of 2018, changed the report format and calculated real  estate prices using the new methodology, in which information on the  prices of private houses is missing and will not be published any  more.
