ArmInfo. Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan left for Dubrovnik (Croatia), where he will participate in the 25th International Economic Conference on June 17-18. The Conference will be attended by the heads of regional central and national banks, international financial structures, as well as the representatives of leading universities and scientific circles.
As stated in the official statement of the Central Bank of Armenia, during the conference, participants will discuss issues relating to world trade, globalization, the future of European and global banking, monetary policy, and institutional development of central banks.
According to the source, the head of the CBA will chair one of the plenary sessions of the conference, which will discuss issues relating to the independence of central banks.
In addition, a number of working meetings with the representatives of partner structures are also scheduled.
