ArmInfo.VTB Bank (Armenia) launched a new service for its customers - sending money transfers via the Best international system to any Visa / MasterCard / Mir  cards issued by both Armenian and foreign banks worldwide from 71  branches of VTB Bank (Armenia).

According to the press service of the bank, VTB Bank (Armenia)  clients can also use the Telephone Bank service, which allows you to  call the Call Center at any time and from any place and send a money  transfer without visiting the branch.

To send a transfer, you need to know the type (Visa / MasterCard /  MIR) and the card number of the recipient, the name of the recipient  and the country of issue of the card.

Transfers are made in rubles of the Russian Federation (converting  automatically into the currency of the beneficiary's card) at a  commission of 1% for transactions on cards issued by Russian banks,  2% for transactions on cards issued by foreign banks.  According to  the report, transfers are available on the recipient's card in  minutes with the possibility of using funds both in cash and  non-cash.  Detailed information about the service can be obtained on  the official website of the Bank www.vtb.am, in the branches of the  Bank and in the Contact Center at 87-87.  According to the 19th issue  of the analytical review "Armenian banks in the card business"  prepared by ArmInfo IC, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds the lead in the  number of active Visa and MasterCard cards, as well as in the volume  of ATM transactions, occupying the 2nd position in total plastic  transactions and the number of ATMs. As of April 1, 2019, the bank  had 379.2 thousand cards, of which 234.1 thousand are MasterCards and  145.1 thousand are Visa. According to the results of 2018, the volume  of plastic transactions with the Bank cards exceeded 278.3 billion  drams, of which 253.3 billion drams are ATM transactions, and 8.9  billion drams are internet transactions. The number of ATMs of VTB  Bank (Armenia) as of April 1, 2019 is 170, of which 80 are installed  in the capital and 90 in the regions of Armenia. Of these ATMs, 15  are equipped with a cash-in function. The bank has its own  processing, linked to the processing of the VTB Group.  It should be  noted that VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC became a member of the VTB  international financial group in April 2004. Currently, the second  largest in Russia, PJSC "Bank VTB" owns 100% of VTB Bank (Armenia)  shares.
