VAT, excise tax).
According to the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee, the five leaders paid a total of 99.2 billion drams to the budget through taxes (with YOY growth of 38%), of which 36.4 billion - for direct taxes (including profit tax, tax on income) and 47.5 billion - for indirect taxes (incl. VAT, excise tax). In the general list of 1000 large taxpayers of Armenia, the five account for 19.4%.
GRAND TOBACCO Armenian-Canadian Joint Venture, Co.Ltd advanced to second place, from the third year earlier, thereby displacing Gazprom Armenia (former ArmRosgazprom) to the third position. International Masis Tabak jumped to fourth place, from the tenth year earlier. The five leaders are closed by GeoProMining, which occupied the fourth position a year earlier. International Masis Tabak deductions to the state budget amounted to 9.5 billion drams, of which 1.8 billion drams - for customs duties, 3.4 billion drams - for direct taxes, 5.4 billion drams - for indirect taxes.
Geopromining Gold LLC tax payments amounted to 9.1 billion drams, incl. for direct taxes - 5.6 billion drams and indirect - 1.1 billion drams. Payments on the customs duty amounted to 802 million drams.
To note, in the h1 of 2018, TOP-5 included the Zangezur Molybdenum Combine, Gazprom Armenia CJSC, Grand Tobako JV, Geopromining Gold and CPS Oil Corporation, which transferred to the budget in total through taxes 71.9 billion drams, of which 23.4 billion for direct taxes (including income tax, profit tax) and 55.7 billion for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).
