Javadyan: Central Bank`s foreign exchange reserves this year will  exceed previous years

ArmInfo.Not being an optimist, but being a pragmatist and a realist, I will say that this  year the volume of reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of  Armenia will be the highest. On October 28, answering the questions  of journalists at the end of the government meeting, Head of the  Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia Artur Javadyan stated.

, the head of the Central  Bank said, noting that this will increase the volume of external  reserves.

In this regard, Javadyan noted that in comparison with the 9 months  of last year, the Central Bank's international reserves were $ 250  million more than a year earlier. "Therefore, it can be forecasted  that at the end of the current year the reserves will exceed the  indicators of the previous year," he emphasized.

He explained that by increasing reserves, Armenia will be able to  solve more problems related to the country's potential. , he  added. In addition, according to Javadyan, an increase in reserves  indicates the amount of funds that have replenished the economy of  the Republic of Armenia, which contributes to increased economic  activity. "We also made certain changes regarding mandatory  reservation, which allowed us to inject about 300 billion drams into  the economy through the banking system," he concluded.
