The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of is considering ways of developing alternative lending instruments to attract financing for SMEs in the regions, in particular, such as factoring, leasing and crowdfunding. Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Naira Margaryan announced this on December 20.
With regards to the last deputy minister noted that at this stage the Law on crowdfunding is being developed.
In addition, as Margaryan noted, there is a need for legislative changes regarding venture funds and business angel investors. In this regard, she stressed that the Ministry will work to create an enabling environment for venture investors and business angel investors. Along with this, the Ministry of Economics intends to organize training and education for entrepreneurs so that the latter meet the requirements of investors, in particular, they are able to communicate with them correctly and present their projects.
