ArmInfo. Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau continues to automate CTPL processes, this time introducing the ASWA mobile application for processing insured events using the Euro protocol. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau.
According to the source, filling out an insured event under the Euro protocol through the ASWA application frees the participant in an accident from having to fill out a paper version and call the insurance company. As soon as a case is registered through ASWA, information is immediately sent to the email addresses specified in the CTPL agreements of the participants in the incident. ASWA works in online mode, it is quite easy to use - a case is formalized through simple step-by-step actions in a matter of minutes.
ASWA mobile app can be downloaded for free from App Store and Google Play Store on smartphones with iOS 8 or Android 4.1 or newer. An insured event can be filed through this application either by one of the participants in the accident, or a third party, at the scene of an accident, which has ASWA and Internet access on the smartphone. The following are the links to the ASWA mobile app on the App Store and Google Play Store: https://apps.apple.com/am/app/aswa/id1496323455 and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details? id = am.aswa.aswa. More detailed conditions and recommendations regarding registration of insured events through the Euro protocol are available on the website of the Bureau of Auto Insurers of Armenia at the following link: https://www.appa.am/index.php?al=agreed_declaration.
To note, the work on the transition of CTPL processes to a single window system and a single platform for the insurance market under the project "Armenian Single Window for Automative - ASWA " was launched in 2017, as part of contract concluded in 2014 with the French Bureau Veritas (Bureau Veritas Inspection Valuation Assessment and Control). Since then, such opportunities began to be introduced in stages: conclusion of insurance policies for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance through a single-window platform (October 2017); On-Line sales of policies (November 2017); purchase of policies through payment terminals with cash-in function (December 2017). And now another automation of the CTPL process has followed - registration of insurance claims under the Euro protocol through the ASWA mobile application. It should be reminded that in Armenia, the system of registration of insurance claims for Euro-protocol in the CTPL market was introduced since March 2016, initially with a damage threshold of up to 50 thousand drams, subsequently in September of that year increased to 100 thousand drams. According to the data of the Bureau of Auto Insurers of Armenia, as of January 1, 2020, there are 602,457 vehicles in Armenia with a valid CTPL agreement. Their number in 2019 increased by 18.5% or by 94161 units. 184367 vehicles were insured in Rosgosstrakh Armenia Insurance Company, 113881 units in INGO Armenia, 109257 units in Nairi Insurance, 73850 units in RESO Insurance, 66481 units in Sil Insurance, 54621 units in Armenia-Insurance.
