ArmInfo. Yambol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bulgaria, is implementing a common project with Fund Investment Support Centre, Armenia - "WINEBIZZ- increasing trade and cooperation in the wine sector between the Bulgarian and Armenian SMEs and BSOs" (ENI/2019/411-865 - EU4BCC - ID 1002), managed by EUROCHAMBRES and funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.
The project aims to facilitate trade between the European Union and the Eastern Partnership in the wine sector, to improve the competitiveness of the sector and to enable the establishment of partnerships between Bulgarian and Armenian business in the wine industry.
Working on the project topic, there were elaborated two very useful manuals:
Wine Marketing Handbook - it presents useful information and guidelines in the field of wine marketing - good practices and guidelines for companies in the wine industry to reach the most suitable customers and clients. Guide "Selling wine in the European Union" - presenting information on levels of compliance with EU oenological requirements and good examples how to sell wine products, labeling and presentation of products, safety requirements. The manual is prepared in English and Armenian.

Wine output totaled 2.9mln liters in Armenia this January-May - a 37.6% decrease as compared with last January-May.
Armenia's wine exports exceeded 3mln liters last year - a 17.7% increase against a 5.9% decrease in 2020. during the period under review, Armenia's wine exports to Bulgaria totaled 9,700 liters (a 64.4% year-on- year increase), with the customs values reaching $59,500 (a 2.1-fold increase).
