Taxes from mining operations have largest share in Armenia`s budget  tax revenues 

ArmInfo. This January-September, Armenia's consolidated budget revenues totaled AMD 1,412.1bln - AMD 77.2bln (5.8%) above the target (AMD 1,334.9bln). 

During the period under review, budget tax revenues exceeded last  year's revenues by AMD 274.8bln (24.2%) - an AMD 395.3bln (38.9%)  increase as compared with 2020, an AMD 333bln (30.9%) increase as  compared with 2019, and an AMD 524.4 increase (59.1%) in 2018. 

Tax refunds totaled AMD 172bln - an AMD 39.7bln (30%) increase as  compared with last year's indicators. As a result of distribution of  import duties between the EAEU member-states, income tax revenues  decreased by AMD 21.6bln or by 35% as compared with the corresponding  period last year - from AMD 62.5 last January-September to AMD  40.9bln. 

The share of taxes from incomes from mining operations was 8%, that  of tobacco production was 3.7%, of banking and software, 3.1% each,  of energy and gas supply 3%. 

The share of VAT totaled AMD 468.1 against AMD 383bln last  January-September (a 22% increase), followed by incomes taxes - AMD  348.5bln against AMD 318.4bln (a 9% increase), taxes on  organizations' incomes - AMD 192.5bln against AMD 131.5bln last year  (a 46% increase). State tax revenues totaled AMD 90.7bln against AMD  34.5bln last year (a 163% increase). Excise taxes totaled AMD 85.1bln  against AMD 76bln last January-September (a 12% increase).  Environmental taxes showed a 495 increase - from AMD 48bln last  January-September to AMD 71.5bln this January-September. The turnover  tax revenues increased from AMD 22.7bln to AMD 29bln (a 28%  increase). 

According to the 2022 draft budget, Armenia's budget revenues are to  total AMD 1,947.8bln (24.7% of the GDP) or AMD 289bln (17.5%) more  than last year. On-budget expenditures are to total AMD 2,184bln or  27.7% of the GDP - AMD 184bln more than the budgeted expenditures for  this year and AMD 334bln more than last year). The budget deficit is  estimated at AMD 236.2bln - AMD 6,736.3mln less than last year.  95%  of the budget revenues will be ensured due to taxes and duties. The  tax revenues are to total AMD 1,844bln against the actually recorded  AMD 1,586.9bln or 22.7% of the GDP last year (0.3 percentage point  more than in 2020).
