Turkish citizens own 100 real estates in Armenia, Azerbaijani  citizens - up to 10

ArmInfo.The number of real estates purchased by Turkish citizens in Armenia does not reach 100, and by Azerbaijani citizens - no more than 10. Arman Petrosyan, d  Deputy Chairman of the Real Estate Cadastre Committee, stated at a  press conference on December 16.

At the same time, he mentioned that the term "citizen of Turkey or  Azerbaijan" does not mean people of Turkish or Azerbaijani  nationality. "Since the volume of transactions is small, I don't  think it is worth spending time on its analysis," he said, thus  responding to media publications on this topic.  Petrosyan noted that  50 of the 450,000 apartments in the capital, owned by Turkish  citizens, are not a reason to look for dangers. In general, he  stressed that in the 10 months of this year, 1,581 real estates were  purchased by foreign citizens in Armenia, with a y-o-y increase of  25%. According to Petrosyan, foreigners accounted for only 3.6  percent of the total number of real estate transactions.
