ArmInfo.Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan held a meeting with members of the SME Cooperation Association.
The meeting discussed problems of microbusinesses meeting taxation requirements set for them, amendments to Armenia's Tax Code abolishing simplified mechanisms of registration of businesses paying the turnover tax.
The businessmen presented their positions on amendments to the Tax Code and made proposals.
Attending the meeting were also NGO members and businessmen.
SMEs' share in Armenia's GDP is 27%, and the Ministry of Economy plans to bring this figure up to 50% in the coming five years.
