Armenia`s government to finance renovation of 70km of state roads this year

ArmInfo. This year, Armenia's government plans to finance the renovation of 70km of state roads, with 30km more to be renovated under subvention programmes.

A government delegation led by Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan visited Abovyan, where the 1.4km- long road is under capital repairs.

In 2018-2022, a total of 93km of state roads were renovated in Kotayk.

In January 2023, the Road Department Foundation reported that this year about AMD 117bln will be allocated from the state budget of Armenia for the construction and repair of roads. AMD 45bln out of the total allocations will be directed to the overhaul of national roads.
