Team Telecom Armenia makes NGN network available in Armenia`s Syunik

ArmInfo.Thanks to the teamwork of the telecommunications company Team Telecom Armenia, an  ultra-powerful NGN network with a speed of 25 Gb/s is already available in all major cities of Syunik (Sisian, Kapan, Goris, Kajaran, Meghri and Agarak) and 21,000 households in the region.

With a high priority on community development, Team began upgrading  infrastructure and building networks in the regions. The presence of  this network will contribute to the development of the technological,  financial, banking and economic industries in Syunik.

"When implementing each project, we think not about what it will give  at the moment, but about how long the result of this project can  serve our compatriots and what overall benefit it will bring to our  country. It was a very important and symbolic step for us to complete  the construction of this modern infrastructure first in the Syunik  region," said Hayk Yesayan, CEO of Team Telecom Armenia.

This network also promotes equal educational opportunities for youth  in the region. Taking into account the importance of this fact, the  company provided the recently opened Loft youth center in Meghri with  new generation Internet.

Speaking about cooperation with the telecommunications company,  General Director of the Center Arevik Ambartsumyan noted that Loft is  the best platform for informal education, self-development and  professional growth. She emphasized that the presence of high-speed  Internet is the best way to reduce the distance between the region  and the capital, as well as the region and the world. "This will give  young people living in the region the opportunity to receive the best  informal education," Ambartsumyan emphasized.

According to the source, in Armenia the network is already available  in a number of cities and villages, in particular in Alaverdi, Artik,  Armavir, Artashat, Berd, Byureghavan, Gavar, Yeghvard, Ijevan,  Hrazdan, Chambarak, Metsamor, Jermuk, Sevan, Spitak and Vardenis. In  Yerevan, residents of the administrative districts of Davitashen,  Arabkir, Avan and Zeytun can use the network. You can connect to the  high-speed Internet of NGN Team Telecom Armenia by subscribing to  Cosmo tariff packages, which include Internet (1000 Mbit/s), digital  television, fixed and mobile communications.

The company began building a unique NGN (Next Generation Network)  network in the region with a speed of 25 Gbit/s using 25G-PON  technology in 2021.
