ArmInfo. The Armenian government intends to continue implementing the program to solve the housing problems of residents of border villages in 2025. This was stated by the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan on November 12 in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia during the presentation of the draft state budget of the country for next year.
According to him, the program has proven its effectiveness in 2023-2024, and it will undoubtedly continue next year. However, as the minister noted, there is a need to clarify a number of parameters of this project so that its effectiveness and focus are at a high level. Discussions are currently underway on the format in which to continue implementing the program.
The RA government provides 16 million drams for the construction of a house in a border settlement. The program has already been used by 2 thousand beneficiaries, who have either built houses or are building them.
