Armenia`s Ministry of Hi-Tech Industry, WB discuss cooperation in  broadband communication development 

ArmInfo. The World Bank delegation led by Michel Rozhin visited the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of High-Tech  Industry of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan and Gevorg Meliksetyan and  Carolin Geginat, Country Manager of the World Bank (WB) for Armenia. 

According to the press service of the department, the parties  discussed the activities of the WB mission in our region in the field  of digitalization, broadband, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity,  as well as the assistance programs and investments implemented by the  WB aimed at ensuring inclusive economic growth. In particular, they  considered a wide range of issues related to possible cooperation in  the development of broadband infrastructure.

Gevorg Mantashyan emphasized that an effective partnership has been  formed between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia and the  World Bank, which has prospects for development and expansion.
