ArmInfo. It is obvious to everyone that there is a shadow turnover of funds in the sphere of bus transportation. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on December 4 during the government hour in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, while responding a question from Garnik Danielyan, a member of the National Assembly from the opposition faction "Armenia". According to the Prime Minister, the Yerevan Municipality has implemented specific and practical measures to reduce the shadow in the bus transportation sphere.
"I am not entirely convinced that bus drivers were the primary beneficiaries of this shadow, as there seemed to be a coordination mechanism involving unknown number of officials and criminal structures. We are not talking about drivers, I have a gut feeling that someone is trying to make money for themselves by involving working people, " Pashinyan said, emphasizing the importance of combating the "shadow" economy and improving the quality of services provided to the population.
