ArmInfo. The rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports that there is a closed road in Armenia.
In particular, as the source notes, the road leading to Lake Kari and the high-mountain weather station "Amberd" is closed. Fog is observed in the Ararat region.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
Meanwhile, according to the data of the Traffic Organization Center of North Ossetia, as of the evening of December 9, there were 1,371 heavy-duty trucks in line to pass through the "Upper Lars" checkpoint, 619 of which had Armenian license plates. This number has decreased almost by half compared to yesterday, when there were 1,359 Armenian trucks at the checkpoint. Let us recall that the Upper Lars checkpoint is the only land route connecting Armenia with the Russian Federation.
