ArmInfo. Russia values mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation with its partners in the Eurasian Economic Union and is interested in stepping up work to strengthen the union. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a narrow-format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on December 26.
"We are sincerely interested in stepping up joint work to comprehensively strengthen our integration union," Putin said, adding that the EAEU has established itself as one of the independent and self-sufficient centers of the emerging multipolar world and continues to actively develop.
"The activities of the Eurasian Union contribute to the expansion of trade and investment exchanges, the expansion of business contacts, the deepening of cooperation ties, and most importantly, integration interaction brings real benefits to each of the participants in our union, in fact, it helps to ensure stable, sustainable growth of the economies of the states and the Eurasian region as a whole," the Russian president emphasized.
