ArmInfo. Cadastral maps don't serve as the primary source for determining the borders of the Republic of Armenia, as stated by Suren Tovmasyan, the head of the Cadastre Committee, at the final press conference on January 7, when addressing concerns about potential issues with cadastral maps for residents of Voskepar and Baghanis villages in the Tavush region during the delimitation process. According to Tovmasyan, he does not have information about any potential changes in the Voskepar- Baghanis section.
In response to the comment that the cadastral map in Kirants was changed after the border delimitation process, Tovmasyan said that he didn't have the authority to comment on the actions of the delimitation commission. "But I am sure that the commission will issue a statement once a decision is made. You have likely observed the changes in areas where the delimitation work has been carried out. I don't have the authority to comment on areas where no changes have occurred, " the head of the Cadastre Committee of Armenia concluded.
Recall that after the demarcation in the village of Kirants in the Tavush region, 54 real estate objects (2 houses and land plots) owned by 30 persons, a bridge, and a section of the interstate road to Georgia had been transferred to the Azerbaijani side.
