This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia David Khudatyan during a meeting with the delegation of the Iranian parliament, headed by the head of the IRI-RA friendship group Ara Shahverdyan.
As reported by the press service of the MTUI, the meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani and members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Narek Babayan and Rustam Bakoyan.
According to the minister, a lot of work has been done in relations between the two countries over the past years. Khudatyan especially pointed out the need to deepen cooperation in the fields of energy and road construction. The interlocutors discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
