Armenia`s Tourism Committee, Air Arabia agree on close cooperation 

ArmInfo. The Tourism Committee of Armenia and Air Arabia have agreed to closely cooperate. This was reported by the press service of the department, citing the results  of the meeting of the head of the Tourism Committee Lusine Gevorgyan  with the representative of Air Arabia in Armenia Evgen Denisenko.

It is reported that the parties discussed the possibilities of  cooperation ahead of the launch of the Abu Dhabi-Yerevan flight,  which will start on June 1, 2025.

In particular, they considered the prospects for implementing  marketing activities, pointed out the need to assist in establishing  partnerships with leading tour operators in Abu Dhabi in order to  properly present Armenia and the Armenian tourism potential in the  UAE, as well as ensure bilateral tourist flows. The interlocutors  also touched upon existing challenges and steps aimed at overcoming  them.

According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia,  7,539 tourists from the UAE visited Armenia in 2024, which is 2.5%  lower than the same period last year.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is an Arab low-cost airline headquartered in  Sharjah, which was founded in October 2019 to enter the growing  low-cost flight market. The company began operations in July 2020.

The route network covers more than 220 destinations in the Middle  East, North Africa, Asia and Europe.  The fleet consists of 81  aircraft - 72 Airbus A320 and 9 A321 Neo LR aircraft.

Air Arabia operates flights from five main hubs - Sharjah  International Airport in the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah International  Airport in the UAE, Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport in  Morocco, Alexandria Borg Al Arab International Airport in Egypt and  Abu Dhabi International Airport in the UAE.
