As part of a working visit to London, a delegation led by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, Vahe Hovhannisyan, met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the Armenian delegation included the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, and the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan.
Vahe Hovhannisyan first thanked the President of the EBRD for their productive cooperation, leading to the Bank's investments in Armenia reaching a historic 400 million euros in 2024. He then discussed Armenia's participation in the process of increasing the EBRD's capital, underscoring Armenia's commitment to supporting the organization's mission.
The delegation headed by the Minister also held meetings with various professional groups at the EBRD and discussed the progress of key infrastructure projects in the RA portfolio, as well as current challenges.
