ENA Acting CEO dismisses the idea of reducing tariffs under the new manager as a myth

ArmInfo.  Acting CEO of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC David Ghazinyan dismissed claims that under the new management it would be possible to reduce the electricity  tariff by almost 7 drams as an outright myth.

Speaking at a press conference in Yerevan on June 30, the acting CEO also addressed rumors about a potential 30% increase of employees' salaries, deeming them absurd. Ghazinyan emphasized the importance of understanding  who would be eligible for salary increase: if it applies to all 6,800 employees, then the tariff would have to be raised, not decreased.

When asked about  President of the Tashir Group of Companies Samvel Karapetyan's statement that he "doesn't care about them or the networks", Ghazinyan pointed to the principles and stance of the businessman, which he values more than anything, including the networks. According to the acting head of the company, anyone familiar with Karapetyan knows that this is practically impossible.
