ArmInfo. Within the framework of the production programs of Gazprom Armenia CJSC for 2025, a set of works and activities is being carried out at gas transportation system facilities. This was reported by the company's press service.
Currently, the source notes, major repairs of the insulation coating are being carried out with the replacement of defective pipes on the Armavir-Karmrashen main gas pipeline with a diameter of 500 mm in the Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia.
Work is also continuing on the major repairs of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi main gas pipeline with a diameter of 700 mm in the Lori region.
The total length of gas pipeline sections subject to major repairs this year is about 48.8 km.
The company's capital repair plan for 2025 also includes work to equip linear pipeline valves with a remote control system at 5 valve stations of main gas pipelines, and comprehensive repairs of process equipment at the Goris, Vedi, and Echmiadzin gas distribution stations.
