" I didn t say it, Xenophon said it": Yerevan to host Beer Festival

ArmInfo. Yerevan will host the festival from August 22 to 24, which will "flow" along Zakyan Street.

The slogan for this year is " I didn t say it, Xenophon said it" , as  the records of the ancient Greek historian Xenophon from the 5th  century BC provide valuable evidence of brewing traditions in ancient  Armenia.  Festival visitors will have the opportunity to not only   taste local and imported beer, but also meet the historical figure  Xenophon, and travel to Ancient Armenia to feel the spirit of brewing  history. To add some excitement, the organizers have also prepared 10  thematic games for visitors, with prizes from festival partners for  those who win.

The  festival has been held since 2021 and has already become one of the  most anticipated and favorite summer events. Note that according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of  Armenia, in January-June 2025, beer production in Armenia increased  by 14.9%, totaling 14.6 million liters.
