ArmInfo. The Silk Road Forum will be held in Tbilisi on October 22-23. According to organizers cited by Georgian media, the main theme and slogan of the fifth forum is "Invest in Connectivity - Grow in Stability."
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will open the event. The Prime Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan and Ali Asadov, will also participate.
Approximately two thousand delegates are expected to attend, including high-ranking politicians, representatives of the business sector and international organizations, heads of leading global companies, international financial institutions, and world-class experts.
The forum will discuss global trade, transport and logistics, the development of the Middle Corridor, energy, digital transformation, and other topics. A separate panel session will be devoted to Georgia's investment climate and opportunities. As part of the forum, the Tbilisi Financial Summit will take place on October 23, with fintech industry leaders attending the opening ceremony.
The Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi was first held in 2015 and is held every two years. Nikol Pashinyan and Ali Asadov also participated in 2023, when Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held a trilateral meeting with them.
