Due to their geographical location, relatively small territory and highly concentrated economy, natural disaster risks can have a significant impact on the macroeconomic indicators of these countries.

ArmInfo.In the medium term, the Armenian government plans to annually attract budget loans in the amount of $300-350 million. On November 17, the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia approved a proposal to sign an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Development Bank to provide a loan in the amount of $100 million.

ArmInfo.On September 22, the Government of Armenia approved the draft decree of the President of  the Republic of Armenia "On approval of additional agreement No. 1" to the agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Development Bank on the provision of a grant from the funds of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development to finance the E-Labor Exchange programme.

The Eurasian Development Bank will provide the Government of Armenia with a $1,719,200 grant for the implementation of the "Energy-efficient regions.  Employing  energy-efficiency enhancement mechanisms in public  buildings and  facilitating green energy development" programme.  The corresponding  decision was made on July 7 at a meeting of the Armenian government.

ArmInfo.The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts a slowdown in GDP growth in Armenia to 1% in 2022, with an acceleration in 2023 to 3.5%. This is stated  in the baseline scenario of the Eurasian Development Bank, presented  in the EDB Macroeconomic Outlook for its region of operations for  2022-2024.
