ArmInfo. A regular process for assessing the effectiveness of budget programs will be introduced in  Armenia. At the plenary meeting on May 2, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia adopted amendments to the law "On the Budget System" in the first reading.

ArmInfo.On April 30, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and General Director of Renshin  LLC Eduard Marutyan signed an agreement on the implementation of the project to build the World Trade Center in Yerevan, the press service of the RA Ministry of Economy reports. 

ArmInfo.The World Bank's Board of Executive Directors approved a Development Policy Operation (DPO)  in the amount of $116 million equivalent for Armenia to enable reforms aimed at promoting green, resilient and inclusive development.

ArmInfo.The Armenian government has decided to return to the initial route of laying the Armenia-Georgia power line with the construction of an electrical substation near the village of Ddmashen. Previously, the issue of making changes to the project and, instead of the Ddmashen substation, to build a similar station at the Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant with the connection of the American General Electric and Chinese companies was discussed.

On April 18, the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia approved the proposal to sign an agreement  attached to the agreement between the Republic of Armenia and KfW "Financial cooperation of Germany with the Republic of Armenia: "Combined water resources management/Akhuryan River I (Phase 2 of the project)>.

ArmInfo.As part of a pilot program to introduce an agricultural insurance system, the Armenian government will not only subsidize insurance premiums, but will also compensate the costs of insurance companies if a certain threshold of insurance payments is exceeded.

ArmInfo.The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Armenia with a loan of 60.09 million euros  for the implementation of the urban development investment program.

ArmInfo. The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide Armenia with a loan of 25 million  euros for the implementation of the second stage of the program to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and structures in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.Reacting to the objective dissatisfaction of citizens, the Armenian authorities decided not to tax Armenian citizens who went to work abroad for a period specified by law if they paid income tax in the country where the income was received, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan stated on February 23 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
