ArmInfo.From January 23, 2023, the Central Bank of Armenia will put into circulation a new batch of the 3rd generation composite banknote with a face value of  1,000 drams. This decision was made on December 27 at the meeting of  the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia. This is  noted in the message of the Central Bank.

ArmInfo. On November 22, the Central Bank of Armenia, on the day of the 25th anniversary of the dram, put into circulation third- generation hybrid banknotes with  denominations of 10,000, 20,000 and 50,000 drams.  According to the  press service of the Central Bank of Armenia, the analogs of the old  model will be in circulation along with them until they are out of  circulation as they wear out. The decision on the introduction of  third-generation banknotes into circulation was made at the meeting  on November 9.
