ArmInfo. In Armenia, the industrial producer price index increased significantly in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, rising from 102.1% to 108.9%. This was observed against the backdrop of improved annual performance in the industrial sector, which rebounded from a 12.1% contraction to a 10.8% growth rate, reaching AMD 1.5 trillion ($4.1 billion). This is according to preliminary data from the RA Statistics Committee. A similar upward trend in the industrial PPI was recorded in June 2026 compared to June 2025, climbing from 102.5% to 108.8%. Over this period, industrial performance also shifted into positive territory, registering a 4% growth rate compared to a 1.2% decline a year prior.

2026 (from 6.3% in the same period of 2025). Moreover, the industrial
sector, having managed to reach double-digit growth from the decline,
has recovered as one of the drivers of economic growth. According to
preliminary data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of
Armenia, foreign trade is still in decline, but only slightly, in
contrast to the significant decline a year ago.
