This is more than 4-5 times more than the purchase and sale volumes of the previous day (August 20), with the buying rate increasing by 1.35 points and the selling rate decreasing by 0.5 points. Moreover, from Monday through Thursday inclusive, the volume of dollar purchases on the intra-bank foreign exchange market fluctuated within the range of $27-42.4 million and sales - in the range of $42.4-68.7 million, and the rate in both cases decreased. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of Armenia.
