ArmInfo. The transaction to acquire 90% of the shares of Ameriabank by the BOGG PLC international financial group, the main asset of which was Bank of Georgia, was completed last Friday.  Now a second major asset in the form of Ameriabank has joined the Group. As previously reported, the total transaction amount was $303.6 million.

ArmInfo.The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia has given preliminary consent to the acquisition of a significant participation in the authorized capital of Ameriabank CJSC by Bank of Georgia Group PLC (BOGG) and Bank of Georgia JSC.

ArmInfo. Ameriabank (the Bank) has reached an agreement with the BOGG (the Group), a UK registered financial group, to join the latter as a standalone entity and the Group to become the main shareholder of the Bank, with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”) retaining their 10% shareholding in Ameriabank.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, prices for precious metals have accelerated the growth rate - from 2.6% last week to 6.2% this week. Moreover, a significant acceleration in price  growth was observed for platinum and palladium, relatively moderate  for silver, against which the cost of gold remained almost unchanged.

ArmInfo.Funds raised from Ardshinbank's Eurobonds will be used to implement ambitious programs for large enterprises of Armenia that are the bank's customers. This  was stated in an interview to a television channel by the Chairman of  the board of "Ardshinbank" CJSC Artak Ananyan.  In this context, he  added that part of the funds will also be directed to stimulate and  increase the volume of mortgage lending, which, according to him,  will lead to lower interest rates. 

ArmInfo. Ardshinbank, rated Ba3/-/B+, sold its $300m five year bond from a book of over $450m through joint bookrunners Citi and Renaissance Capital. The deal was  sold at par with a coupon of 6.5%, according to the information  published on the website Global Capital.

ArmInfo. Ardshinbank December 16 this year will begin the initial placement of non-documentary coupon dollar bonds in the amount of $ 5 million. As evidenced by the  emission prospectus posted on December 11 on the Central Bank's  website, 50 thousand bonds with a par value of $ 100 each, with a  coupon yield of 5.25% and a periodicity of payment of times are  provided to the quarter. The maturity date of the bonds of this issue  is dated March 16, 2022.

ArmInfo. ՛՛Ardshinbank՛՛ CJSC launched the second phase of nominal foreign currency coupon bonds on October 10.

ArmInfo.The dram and dollar tranches of Ardshinbank bonds, with issue volumes of 1.5 billion drams and $ 10 million respectively, were listed on the Armenian  Stock Exchange on August 28. ArmInfo was informed about this in the  press service of the bank.

ArmInfo. Ameriabank will act as financial intermediary for Armenia in USD 175m blended finance impact  securitization  transaction launched by responsAbility AG arranged by  JP Morgan and backed by Overseas Private Investment Corporation  (OPIC).

ArmInfo. In June 2019, Ardshinbank began issuing its own bonds in Armenian drams and US dollars. The AMD bonds issue boos will be open until September 1,  while USD bonds issue books - until August 2.

ArmInfo. According to the monthly magazine "Global Finance" Ameriabank won the nomination "Best Investment Bank 2017" Armenia. Awards from Global Finance were awarded to Ameriabank in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

ArmInfo. The successful inaugural bond issue listing on the Vienna Stock Exchange has encouraged Ardshinbank to launch a second issue on the Irish Stock Exchange. The second issue proves to be bigger than the first one. This time the issue has amounted to $100 million with a public offering. The coupon yield is 12% and the payment frequency is once every six months.  The nominal value of the bonds is  $100 thsd. The redemption of the second issue bonds expires on 29 July 2020. The lead manager of the second issue, like in the first case, is J.P. Morgan Securities Plc.
