Due to the service payment for daily  purchases/services via VTB Bank Armenia cards will be not only fast  and convenient but also beneficial. The press-service of the bank has  told ArmInfo that starting from October 2016 all the holders of Visa  and MasterCard receive cashback-rewards for non cash transactions in  "Cashback N1" trade network.

ArmInfo. It is early to speak of the plans of expanding Russian "Mir" payment system abroad, President of VTB24 Bank Mikhail Zadornov stated answering to ArmInfo's correspondent's question in Yerevan about the possibility of issue and acquiring of Russian "Mir" bank card on the territory of CIS countries. The banker noted that entering foreign markets is not yet a priority for NSPK (operator of Russian "Mir" payment system-ed. note), the most important thing is to ensure issue, servicing and acquiring of the cards in ATMs and large retail markets inside Russia.

ArmInfo. Menu.am Company  offered Ameriabank to develop a new system of online payments. The  special feature of this system is that the client needs to indicate  his or her card data only once and then enjoy shopping without having  to enter the card data again, the press-service of the bank informs.

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Russia may broaden the agreement on interaction of the national system of payment cards with the payment systems of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, Vladimir Komlev, Chairman of the Board of JSC "National System of Payment Cards", says in an interview with Izvestia.  

ArmInfo. ARARATBANK OJSC and the Armenian Automobile Club (AAC) have launched a co-branding ArCa card - Classic, Platinum and Black, which is not only a payment card, but also a membership card of the AAC. In this light, the Bank and the AAC signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the head office of ARARATBANK on September 16.

ArmInfo. Growth rates of  non-cash transactions by plastic cards slackened in Armenia.  According to the report of the Central Bank of Armenia the amount of  non-cash card transactions totaled 85.7 bln drams in H1 2016. Despite  significant amounts in absolute terms the growth rates of non-cash  payments by bankcards slackened to current 12% from previous 32%.

The bank's press-service has told ArmInfo that VTB24 and "Multicarta" processing company launched this service of money transfers abroad in Odnoklassniki in July of 2016.

ArmInfo. Starting from July 21 holders of Visa cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) will receive an opportunity to make transfers via Visa Direct system to Visa cards issued not only by the VTB Bank (Armenia) but also by local and international banks. The press-service of the bank has told ArmInfo that transfers can be made 24 hours a day via 157 ATMs of VTB Bank (Armenia) with a 0.9-2% fee from the transfer amount.

ArmInfo. For the fourth time Ameriabank has been granted Euromoney Award for Excellence - this time as the best bank in Armenia in 2016. The press service of the bank reports that the awarding ceremony took place in London on July  7.  For already 25 years the prestigious awards are granted to banks, brokers and dealers based on analysis carried out by Euromoney experts in over 164 countries. The Awards for Excellence are given in 20 banking- and capital market-related categories.

The Bank has told ArmInfo that from June 27 till September 30 all Areximbank-GPB Group customers, who acquire insurance policies to leave abroad, will be offered premium class chip cards - MasterCard Gold  and VISA Gold - with a 50% discount in the currency indicated by the customers (USD, EUR, RUR, AMD).

ArmInfo.Armenian Card (operator of Armenia's ArCa payment system) and National System of Payment Cards-NSPK (Russian "Mir" payment system operator) signed an agreement of intent today in Yerevan. The sides agreed to ensure mutual servicing of ArCa and Mir payment systems in the payment infrastructures of their participants.
