ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) have signed $ 15 mln loan agreement for SME and agricultural sector financing. The press-service of the ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has told ArmInfo that the loan funds are multi-currency, which envisages attracting funds both in dollars and drams. The document was signed in Noordwijk  (Netherlands) during the Future of Finance conference organized by the FMO.

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia)  announces launch of new service aimed at stimulating growth of  non-cash payments. Due to the service payment for daily  purchases/services via VTB Bank Armenia cards will be not only fast  and convenient but also beneficial. The press-service of the bank has  told ArmInfo that starting from October 2016 all the holders of Visa  and MasterCard receive cashback-rewards for non cash transactions in  "Cashback N1" trade network. 

ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank jointly with German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union  (NABU) has launched today the implementation of the second project of  free "Certification of Organic Agricultural Products". ArmInfo. Subsidizing of Armenian  agriculture should total 10-15% from total amount of production. Only  in such case real growth and development of the field may be  registered. Consequently, it is extremely important to find fund  sources for additional financing of the field, Minister of  Agriculture Ignatiy Arakelyan stated at the meeting with the deputies  and other officials of the ministry.

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Russia may broaden the agreement on interaction of the national system of payment cards with the payment systems of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, Vladimir Komlev, Chairman of the Board of JSC "National System of Payment Cards", says in an interview with Izvestia.  

ArmInfo. Growth rates of  non-cash transactions by plastic cards slackened in Armenia.  According to the report of the Central Bank of Armenia the amount of  non-cash card transactions totaled 85.7 bln drams in H1 2016. Despite  significant amounts in absolute terms the growth rates of non-cash  payments by bankcards slackened to current 12% from previous 32%.

ArmInfo. Banks of Armenia continue intensive capitalization, while experts anticipate new mergers till the end of 2016. According to the data of Financial Ranking of Armenian banks prepared by ArmInfo only 7 banks out of 19 have so far met the the minimal capital requirement, which according to the CBA's decision must not be less than 30 bln drams starting from 2017.

ArmInfo. With the support of ACBA CREDIT-AGRICOLE BANK, eight representatives of the Union of French Armenian Doctors (UMAF) have arrived in Armenia to conduct an ophthalmic examination of the schoolchildren of Syunik marz rural communities and the town of Sisian. ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank within KfW "Energy Efficiency Program for SME" signed a loan  agreement with the Central Bank of Armenia aimed at trade and instant  lending to SME entities with 11-13.8% interest rate and 2-5 years of  repayment term. The maximum amount of loan within the agreement is  500 mln AMD, press-service of the bank has told ArmInfo. 

ArmInfo. ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK has lowered the one-time payment for activating ACBA Mobile application for individuals.  The press office of the Bank has told ArmInfo that the customers who apply for the application will be able to become users for 2500 AMD instead of 5000 AMD. The tariff will be valid until 20 September 2016.

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) ranks the second in the list of the largest taxpayer-banks and the 26th in the list of top 1,000 taxpayers in Armenia for the 1st half of 2016 by paying 2.024bln drams to the state budget, of which1.8bln drams were direct taxes (incl. profit and incomes taxes).

ArmInfo. Armenian banks paid 19.4bln drams taxes to the state budget in the 1st half of 2016, which is 13.7% lower than for the same period of 2015. Direct taxes (including profits and incomes taxes) amounted more than 90% or 17.4bln drams of total with a 15% decline year-over-year. According to the State Revenue Committee, 13 of the 19 operating banks were among top 100 biggest taxpayers in Armenia in the 1st half of 2016.  Top 5 taxpayer-banks were Ameriabank, VTB Bank (Armenia), Ardshinbank, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and Armbusnessbank, with four of them were among top 5 taxpayer-banks a year ago too. In the 1st half of 2016, the top 5 taxpayer- banks paid 10.1bln drams to the state budget (down 16.3% y-o-y), of which 9.3bln drams were direct taxes (down 16.8% y-o-y).   

ArmInfo. Starting from July 21 holders of Visa cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) will receive an opportunity to make transfers via Visa Direct system to Visa cards issued not only by the VTB Bank (Armenia) but also by local and international banks. The press-service of the bank has told ArmInfo that transfers can be made 24 hours a day via 157 ATMs of VTB Bank (Armenia) with a 0.9-2% fee from the transfer amount.
