ArmInfo. The Armenian government needs to work for the long term, not limited to programs aimed at resolving situational, momentary problems. A similar opinion was  expressed by ArmInfo member of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission  on Economic Affairs from the My Step faction Gevorg Papoyan.

ArmInfo.In the Armenian city of Armavir, instead of the old glass factory, processing and enrichment of molybdenum ore started. This was reported by the Hraparak newspaper, referring to complaints from residents who have recently felt an  unpleasant odor and the presence of smoke clouds over the territory  of the enterprise.

Converse Bank has been awarded with the “Deal of the Year 2018 - Green Trade” award from the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD) for improving the energy efficiency of greenhouse infrastructure in Armenia. The award ceremony took place within the frames of the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Sarajevo on May 07, 2019.

ArmInfo.The delegation of the Renewable Energy Producers' Association presented to the KfW German Development Bank the crisis situation in the field of small  hydropower plants, threatening the prospects for the development of  the programs of the German Development Bank in Armenia.

ArmInfo. In the framework of his working visit to Shirak region, Armenian President Armen Sargsyan visited "Green food" greenhouse with an area of 3 hectares in Artik,  where environmentally friendly strawberries are grown using  international standards that meet international criteria.

Ameriabank has entered  into a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and  Development (EBRD) for $ 20 million, of which $ 12.5 million under  the Green Economy Financing Program (GEFF). The loan will help SMEs  and corporations to invest in green technologies ("green  technologies").

The European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Green Climate Fund  (GCF) provide Ameriabank with a loan of $ 12.5 million in the  framework of the Green Economy Financing (GEFF) program. As noted in  the EBRD report, Ameriabank became the first partner of the European  Bank in Armenia to receive a loan under this program. The loan will  help SMEs and corporations to invest in green technologies.

ArmInfo. About $ 40 million was invested in the construction of the first "green" Class A business center in Armenia. The head of the Kamar Business Center and the head  of Prodeco Artashes Kazhetsyan reported to the Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan during the recent presentation of this building.
