ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of a program to assist the textile industry in Armenia. According to the press service of the Ministry,  the program is being implemented in Armenia with the financing of the  "Good Governance Fund" of the United Kingdom government, with the  support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  (EBRD), in cooperation with the Business Assistance Office. The  program is aimed at the sustainable, inclusive development of the  textile industry in Armenia.

ArmInfo.The Government of Armenia transferred 15% of shares of Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) CJSC to the trust management of the Armenian National  Interest Fund (ANIF) CJSC. The corresponding decision was made at a  government meeting on January 5.

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia and the German KfW Development Bank on December 20 signed a loan agreement for 70 million euros for the implementation of the 3rd stage of the financing program for small and medium-sized businesses  in Armenia. This amount is essentially the largest in the period of  the Armenian-German intergovernmental cooperation under this program.   This is stated in the message of the Central Bank of the Republic of  Armenia, where it is noted that in addition to the agreement,  technical support is provided.

ArmInfo. The Japanese government will provide grants for the implementation of 2 programs in the Armavir and Lori regions of Armenia. 

ArmInfo.Armenia will allocate 25 million euros for the modernization of urban transport. The loan agreement "Yerevan Bus Program" was signed on November 24 at the RA  Ministry of Finance between the Republic of Armenia and the European  Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

ArmInfo.The Minister of Economy of Armenia assures that there is an investment interest in the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia. "Perhaps next week the government will announce a large investment project in the Meghri free economic  zone," Kerobyan said at a November 18 briefing after a cabinet  meeting.

ArmInfo.Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Armenia Mohammad Ahmad Haj Ibrahim proposed to Minister  of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan to organize an exhibition with  the participation of Syrian business circle. The proposal was  announced during today's meeting.
