ArmInfo. Armenia joint multi sided Convention of OECD, which will allow to implement norms of international agreements practically on preventing tax evasion and transfer of profits.

ArmInfo. Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan  on June 7 in Paris will participate in the procedure of signing many-sided agreement of the convention  "On measures related to  the prevention of the destruction of tax base and the transfer of profits," the press service of the department informs.

ArmInfo. The terms of  projected  budget capsulation transition starting with 2018 will be observed in  Armenia. This was stated by Vardan Aramyan, the Minister of Finance,  in his interview to ArmInfo. 

ArmInfo. "We are yet in the limits  of scenario assuming 3,2 economic growth by the end of 2017 and we  have targeted to provide the growth of GDP in upcoming years for 4,8  and higher up to 5,7%". Vardan Aramyan, thie Finance Minister of  Armenia, in his interview to ArmInfo comments on the plans on budget  capital expenditures , talks about those being justified and notes  the positive signals in the economy of Armenia within the activities  of Armenian Government led by Karen Karapetyan. According to the   minister, sometimes  positive expectation, including those in  economy, play a much more essential role than it was supposed. 

ArmInfo. "We are still in the  scenario that envisages a 3.2% economic growth by the end of 2017 and  set a goal to ensure GDP growth in subsequent years by 4.8 and up to  5.7%," Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan said after the next  meeting Government.  Meanwhile, according to him, the government in  its forecasts takes into account the presence of risks in connection  with the emerging conjuncture in foreign markets and the general  state of the world economy.

ArmInfo. Armenian Nuclear Power  Plant is the source of cheapest energy power processing in the  country, and which is why its role is hard to overestimate from the  point of view of possibilities of economy development. This was  stated by Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan during the  conversation with ArmInfo's correspondent. 

ArmInfo.  Armenian Government is  intended to drive additionally collected assets  at AMD 50 bln  to  the infrastructure development projects. " I think, today it would be  more justified to invest the amount stated and to generate the added  value, which, in its turn, could be led for maintaining the state  debt, " Vardan Aramyan, Armenian Ministry  Charge D'Affair  stated in  his interview to ArmInfo. 

ArmInfo. Inactive real estate in  Armenia  should be taxed with a progressive tax. The relevant offer  was made by the head of the Armenian Government Karen Karapetyan on  May 18 at the Government session. At the same time, as he noted, the  additional tax burden  should not be applicable to running business

ArmInfo. Armenia is intended to continue tight cooperation with International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) within the purpose of implementation of programs on economu reforms and social aspects. This was stated in the interview to ArmInfo by Vardan Aramyan, who accentuated that the close cooperation between Armenia and IMF and WB has a permanent and ongoing character, the programs are pretty various and are aimed at reforms in many sectors.  According to the Minister, in the case of IMF this is the 3-4 year agenda under the framework of EFF and EFC.

ArmInfo. Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan on May 17 met the delegation of ADB, the department press service informed that the sides discussed the opportunities of planned budget cooperation from ADB.

ArmInfo. In the forecasts of the  International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) regarding  the economic growth of Armenia in 2017, some elements of conservatism  are observed. Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan stated this in  an interview with ArmInfo, commenting on the discrepancy between the  forecasts of international structures and the Armenian Cabinet  regarding the growth rate of the Armenian economy.

ArmInfo. Armenia for 2016 exceeded  the planned deficit level in the state budget by 2%. This was stated  by the Minister of Finance of Armenia Vardan Aramyan on April 27 at a  meeting of the government presenting a report on the state budget  performance for 2016.

ArmInfo. An Internet-system will be launched for private persons from April 25 in respect to bonds. This was stated by Vardan Aramyan, the Minister of finance, after the Government session session, commenting on the issuig, allocation and circulation of bonds. "Currently the testing works in respect to the tool mentioned are in progress," he added.

ArmInfo. IMF and Government  forecasts  in respect to 2017 GDP growth of the country are  different. Vardan Aramyan, the Finance Minister, shared with  journalists the ambitious plans of the Government, forecasting higher  growth of GDP than that set forth in the country's budget. Meanwhile,   yesterday the IMF mission fund voiced his version of Armenian GDP  growth which is up to 2,9%. 

ArmInfo. "The adoption of new Tax Code is one of  main achievements of Armenian Government during recent years," Teresa Daban Sanchez, the IMF representative to Armenia stated on April 12 in  Yerevan.  According  to  IMF representative , Armenia sends a clear message to the global community in respect to tax reforms held in the country.
