Italian company Tirana Skavi will build a section of the Babadjanyan-Ashtarak highway of the Yerevan western bypass road

ArmInfo. According to the press service of the Government, the program manager, the deputy director of the Investment BDP for the construction of Yerevan Nora Movsisyan informed that 5 companies submitted a contract to the tender in accordance with the procedures of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The winner is the Italian company Tirana Skavi with $ 32,943,648.15 price offer.

The council recognized and approved the results of the tender for the construction of the Babadjanyan- Ashtarak road section and approved the proposal to conclude an agreement with the Italian company.

"It is envisaged to conclude an agreement in December 2017, and work to start in the spring of 2018 taking into account weather conditions. 24 months are allocated for construction work. The total length of the road will be 10 km, the average width of 24 m. The new road will be equipped with an LED-backlit (LED) meeting international standards", the press service of the executive body reports.
