ArmInfo.Armswissbank successfully placed the third tranche of its AMD registered coupon bonds. As the press service of the bank told ArmInfo, the bonds of this issue (AMSWISB2CER2) were placed at the Stock Exchange of Armenia as a result of which the bonds with a nominal value of AMD 9,700 bln were fully placed, demand exceeded supply by almost 14%.
According to the source, as a result of trading, the cut-off price was 50 thousand AMD, the cut-off yield was 9%, the weighted average yield- 8.7790%. The total volume of submitted applications exceeded 11.171 billion AMD, and the satisfied ones - over 9.785 billion AMD.
The volume of this issue amounted to 10 billion AMD, including 300 million AMD to be purchased by the market maker. The number of bonds of this issue is 20 thousand, each with a nominal value of 50 thousand AMD. The yield on the coupon is 9%, and the frequency of coupon payments is once every six months.
The press service informs that from the moment of entering the corporate bonds market, Armswissbank has issued 11 tranches of bonds as of today, of which 7 are USD, 2 -AMD and 2 -EUR as a result of the successful placement of which 8 billion AMD, $ 41 million and 13 million EUR (in AMD equivalent) were raised. Of these 11 issues, 3 have already been successfully repaid.
Currently, 8 issues of Armswissbank bonds are circulating on the AMX stock exchange - these are 2 AMD, 2 EUR and 4 USD. In particular, the total volume of AMD issue is 8 billion AMD, euro - 13 million EUR and dollar - $ 31 million. The repayment of dollar bonds will take place in 2024 and 2025, euro - in 2023, and dram - in 2021 and 2023.
According to the Financial Rating of the Banks of Armenia as of December 31, 2019 prepared by ArmInfo IC, Armswissbank is in the TOP-3 in terms of the amount of funds raised from the placement of corporate bonds. As of the reporting date, this volume amounted to 32.5 billion AMD or $ 67.7 million, having increased by 19.6% in 2019. In the total volume of this indicator in the market, the share of Armswissbank reaches about 18%.
To recall, Armswissbank CJSC was established on October 7, 2004. As of April 1, 2020, HVS Holding LLC, controlled by Vartan Sirmakes and registered in Luxembourg, holds the 85.53% stake in Armswissbank, while the remaining 12.47% is owned by FMTM Distribution Ltd, and Vartan Sirmakes and Chrono Star International Participations Group Franck Muller S.a.r.l are indirect shareholder.
